Records of Divorce

November 8th, 2010
Dave Porter asked:

Records of Divorce and Marriage documents are required in a number of occasions. Such as changing your name, getting remarried or immigrating to another country. In the case of immigration, different country or states would have different requirements. Divorce Record is also use to check on prospective spouse and to determine the official marital status. And if you do consider marriage, it is a good idea to check whether there is any child support and alimony in his past relationship.

Certified copies of California Divorce Records could be obtained from The California Department of Public Health Office of Vital Records for a fee of $13. It maintains a central registry for California Divorce and Marriage Records. If you require certified copies of the actual divorce decrees, you will need to approach the Superior Court in the county where the divorce was filed. The Office of Vital Records only issues a Certificate of Record – and only for divorces that occurred between 1962 and June 1984. It includes the names of the parties to the divorce, the county where the divorce was filed, and the court case number. Due to the current high demand, turn around time can easily exceed 6 months.

You could also obtain California divorce records from the county courthouse where the divorce proceeding was filed. However that could be a hassle if traveling is a constraint. If we are constraint by time or not up to the task ourselves, turning to professional records providers will be a better solution. They do charge a nominal fee but it spares you all the hassle and very professional results are downloaded within minutes.

These online records information providers utilize a network of multiple data sources to let you find the exact records you are looking for. The members only area is constantly updated with new records and search capabilities. The main advantage is you could simply search for your request online. As little as a first and last name and state of residency is suffice to initiate a search. It would normally run up a list of potential names that you could further zoom in. The better service provider could even deliver very comprehensive reports up to background check. Other than public resources, they also have access to private and privileged database.

Story of Antigone

November 6th, 2010
O Brittian asked:

In the story of Antigone a proper burial is very important. The reason for this is the way, in this story, that someone is buried is symbolic of honor. In this story Polyneices and Eteocles are two brothers who are fighting on opposite sides in a war, they both pass away and it is decided what is to be done with their bodies. Creon the present king of Thebes orders that Eteocles gets honored and Polyneices gets disgraced by not getting a proper burial. Antigone is a sister of the brothers and she fights and argues that her brother should have a proper burial because she feels that he is being disrespected. This story reflects how this civilization viewed death and burial, the way viewed it similar to how we view it today. We still feel a proper burial is a way of honoring someone.

For example when our last pope died he was buried in an expensive crypt. There would have been a great commotion if we had just placed him in a simple coffin and buried him in the ground. This is interesting because the catholic religion doesn’t mention anything about the significance of where someone is buried. As a matter of fact the location where someone is buried does not have any impact on what happens to the person after they die. In the catholic religion when someone dies their spirit leaves their body instantly and the final judgment of where they end up is determined by God.

In this story Teiresias is a blind prophet who predicts the fall of Creon for his wicked ways. This represent shows how things come back to us, good and bad. This story suggests that when we do negative stuff to people negative stuff happens back to us a later point in time. This is very similar to Christian religion in a sense because of the whole “you reap what you sow” theory. Our fate is determined by our actions, and the wicked our paid back for all of their bad deeds. It is a way of suggesting that everything in life is fair and equal. What I find interesting about a lot of this stories from Rome is that the rulers are always portrayed as wicked beings who things for the sole purpose of getting a sick sensation.

Religion is discussed in this by mentioning of the Greek gods, the punishments that happens to Creon is said to have been caused by the gods. It is the the gods justice system that presents him with his fate. Antigone feels the personal duty to bury her brother properly and give him his due respect. She is also not sneaky about the way she does it, she is upfront when makes her demand. The law conflicts with both of these, because the law is created by Creon. A social law is that if one is not buried properly he is dishonored and it shows disrespect.

It just fascinates me how so many people despite the religion are so concerned with how someone is buried or disposed of. The Greeks believed in many gods but they also didn’t believe that the spirits remained trapped in the bodies after people passed away. A good reflection of how belief of spirits attached to deceased bodies is shown throughout our culture is one of Michael Jackson’s biggest hits, the music video for the song Thriller. In this video he is walking with his girlfriend past a grave yard when hand starts popping up from beneath the ground and removing their own tombstones. The idea that spirits remain where their body is remains a myth today, despite the fact that there are so many religions that don’t agree with this.

Benefits of Public Health Education

November 5th, 2010
Jes B asked:

Public health education can be considered an ambiguous term. It teaches the proper way to improve one’s health, and can involve only one or two people, or the population of several countries. Anything that can seriously threaten the physical, mental, or spiritual health of a wide range of people, notably due to their interactions with one another, can be classified as a threat to the community’s public health. This is why public health education becomes a necessary tool to aid people against the spread of potential diseases and illnesses. Five of the most important reasons of how public health education can prove beneficial are as follows:

1. People are able to learn how to prevent the spread of communicable diseases through the training and methods being taught in education. People are able to have better access to information regarding general prevention of diseases, including the knowledge of what to do and how to act during epidemics in their area. Certain diseases have their own individual prevention methods that people should be well aware of, and employing these techniques lessens the risk of being infected by possible diseases. Through public health education, even simple things such as wearing a flu mask in particularly affected areas, or knowing when to take vaccines for a particular illness that is prominent at that time of the year, always proves very effective in limiting the number of people affected annually.

2. More people are able to access private and public medical institutions to prevent diseases or medical conditions, or to better treat them. Without the benefits of a public health education, most people may feel healthy enough and not find the need to go for a general check-up. Being aware that it is necessary to see your doctor regularly is one of the important things learned in a good public health education. Most medical hospitals and clinics offer immunization or vaccine shots during the flu seasons, or when a general outbreak of hepatitis is going around, and a public health education ensures that more people know to go to these facilities and avail of the treatment, thereby lessening the amount of ill people.

3. People are able to adopt a healthier behavior to lessen the risk of diseases being spread among themselves. Keeping things cleaner around the house, opting to lessen or quit smoking altogether, or exercising more are just a few of the many different ways taught in public health education to combat sickness and improve one’s lifestyle.

4. People become more aware of information relating to the disease, rather than believing in just public perception. Public health education not only deals with how to prevent illnesses, it also provides details of how a disease works, which may dispel some myths and fallacies about it in society. The HIV virus for example, can be spread through unprotected sexual intercourse, but not through activities such as kissing or touching. This also helps change a person’s views towards someone infected, promoting more empathy rather than discrimination.

5. People are able to help and contribute to disease prevention by supporting or volunteering at health care facilities. Public health education is more than just spreading information; it also calls people to actively participate in aiding others. To be able to protect one’s health, it is also necessary to protect the health of other people around you, and helps foster a more close-knit community and a better sense of camaraderie.

Erectile Dysfunction Home Remedy – Tips to Cure Your ED Problem Naturally

November 4th, 2010
Joe Barton asked:

Boys will be boys and men will be men! Unless, you have an erectile dysfunction! Did you know that millions of men suffer from this problem which can lead to emotional and mental problems including depression? If you have been around a group of guys lately, you know that their bedroom night life is important to them and their partner. But millions of men are crippled when it comes to this God-given pleasure.

Statistics show that 18-30 million American men will suffer from an erectile dysfunction problem this year alone. And millions of the those men will choose to treat their bedroom problem with a colorful pill that costs dollars a piece and has been reported to cause blindness, deafness and the regular nauseousness and headaches. But before you risk your eyesight and hearing, have you considered an erectile dysfunction home remedy?

This natural health option is shown to improve your overall health (physically, emotionally, mentally and even spiritually) while curing your erectile dysfunction?

Research Supports E.D. Natural Treatment

A recent study from Johns Hopkins’ Bloomberg School of Public Health has recently published a report supporting a natural treatment. The study stated that nearly one and five men are experiencing an erectile dysfunction. However, simple lifestyle changes can be enough to ward off this lifestyle-caused problem.

Are you at risk for diabetes? Do you know if heart disease runs in your family? Do you have a job which requires you to be sitting most of the work day? Are you questioning the foods you put in your body?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the following questions, you might be a perfect candidate to treat your problem with an erectile dysfunction home remedy. Here is how most of our customers started their erectile dysfunction natural treatment.

Tips to Cure Your Erectile Dysfunction Problem Naturally

1. Check the labels! You should begin to take your diet more serious! There are a lot more nutrition details in our E.D. Report but you should begin by lessening: fast food, fattening foods, and high sugar foods or sweats. If you cut your fat intake to less than 60 grams per day and lower your cholesterol you will notice a difference in weeks.

2. Increase Circulation! How do you increase circulation? You cut cholesterol! This is what nutritional expert Michael A. Klaper, M.D. says, “You need to keep the arteries to the genitals open, and the way to do that is with a low-fat, low-cholesterol diet.” Moderate the foods from animal and animal-based products.

3. Fiber! If you have been around a grocery store in the last 5 years you should know that fiber is important. Just look at the main label on the front of most healthy foods. High fiber diets (especially fruits, vegetables, and whole grains) have been shown to keep the body regular and cleansed. Our report gives a ‘must buy’ food description.

4. Meal Size! Make a fist and look at it! That is about the same size your next meal should be. In fact, all your meals should be that size and you should be eating 5 meals per day. This helps with digestion and keeps the blood flow where it should be and not your stomach.

5. Vitamin! Are you taking your vitamins? Your mom was right and you should be taking your vitamins and multi-vitamin! But you should also know what vitamins pump blood flow to where you want it.

6. Ginkgo is good! Herbalist expert James Green states, “Supplements of the herb ginkgo, found in most health food stores, can improve blood flow to the genital arteries and veins, which may help reverse impotence.” Do you know what other herbs and supplements are a must?

7. Breathe! Obviously you are always breathing but your posture and various breathing exercises will increase circulation by 15%. You can even do some simple breathing exercises in the comfort of your office desk! And the boss never has to know! Shhhh

8. Water! Got water? Three-fourths of your body is water! And when you add a 1% to that you can have super-human benefits. You should begin a water plan to drink at least 10 tall glasses of water per day! Start drinking 5 glasses per day and work your way up?

Is There More?

This might be a lot to chew on but yeah there is a lot more! The more angles you attack your erectile dysfunction, the more likely you are to cure your problem sooner. Vitamins? Herbs? Supplements? Dieting? Things to avoid? Breathing techniques? How to be active and love it!

Our natural heath medical doctor has done the work for you! Learn everything you need to know about curing an erectile dysfunction today. Please take a minute to visit our Erectile Dysfunction Home Remedy website and take a chance on a guaranteed natural treatment that works!

Public Health Career Training Online

November 3rd, 2010
Renata McGee asked:

The general population has many needs that have to be met on a regular basis. Health is usually at the top of the list, which is why there are numerous health professionals working to improve and maintain health in society. Public health is a popular career because it allows professionals to work with a variety of people and areas. Online career training is becoming a prevalent way for students to earn a degree in public health.

The profession spans across a large range of areas and activities, but all the work focuses on the evaluation and regulation of health for the public. Professionals target general or specific areas, which can include nutrition or a metropolitan city’s healthcare system. It is highly common for professionals to handle complex problems involving overall healthcare services and systems. They contribute to keep communities free from outbreaks of infections. They also work with individuals, families, and communities by promoting healthy behaviors. The field can have graduated students entering careers that have them working for wellness programs in schools, hospitals, universities, and government firms. With the field being incredibly diverse students have many options to consider before deciding on an online degree program. Family health, health education, epidemiology, and environmental health are just a few of the options that students can choose to focus their schooling on.

Online training for public health is commonly only available at the graduate level, which includes a master’s or doctorate degree. This is because most careers need individuals who have more in depth training. Students can’t enter a graduate degree without first completing a bachelor’s degree. A bachelor’s degree provides students with a general education that can be applied to a graduate degree program. A health science degree is the ideal option for students to gain a broad foundation focused on the medical field. Student’s study includes biology, chemistry, health education, and healthcare administration, which provides the knowledge needed to succeed in a graduate degree program.

Graduate degree programs online include a master of public health or a doctor of public health. An MPH degree is a science-based program that incorporates specific information on how to use knowledge to improve public health, educate, and provide preventative measures. Education covers advanced training in health and administration duties. Environmental science, epidemiology, public health biology, management, health promotion, and disease prevention are some course subjects that are covered through a master’s program. Master’s degree programs prepare students to step into leadership roles as food safety inspectors, health inspectors, public health advisors, and more. Furthering education at the PhD level qualifies students for upper level management and roles in academia.

At the doctorate level students specialize in one specific area such as nutrition, behavioral science, child health, and epidemiology. Students enrolled in an epidemiology program will mainly study how diseases spread. The goal of education is to prepare students to contribute to the field by creating strategies to keep outbreaks in check. Courses that supplement specific fields of study include leadership, public health internship, and management. Students that want to be involved on the research side of the profession should consider entering an online training program at this level.

Searching out possible accredited online programs is the best way to begin the process of entering the profession. Utilizing the vast online resources to decide on a specific program helps students enter the field of their choice.
