Pregnancy Test?

My girlfriend took four pregnancy tests today two were at the health clinic and all came back positive. Is she pregnant for sure? She is going to get a blood test done.

The lines were faint on the plus but I assume they were faint because she is only 3-5 weeks in.

virus?

Homeland Secuity Mobile Command?

I live in Central Illinois, and today, we went out to our County Services location to look at some stray dogs for possible adoption. On our way in, we followed a Department of Homeland Security Mobile Command Unit. I’ve never seen such a thing. It was like and RV, but had CCD Cameras on the top front and rear. The strange thing is, there’s no police station out there or anything like that. Just a Health Clinic, Department of Transportation Gravel Works, and the Animal Control building. The only other thing was that it went behind all of these buildings and down a dirt road that leads out into the middle of the woods. Now why would a DHS Mobile Command Unit, drive out into the middle of the woods, in the middle of Cornland Illinois? The location is about 15 miles from Peoria, 5 miles from Pekin. Anyone else seen any mobilization like this under strange circumstances? I saw it, and where they went, and I immediately got a sinking feeling in my stomach.

Gross question, but have you ever had a sinus infection so bad your snot was bloody?

I thought I had a sinus infection, so I went to the health clinic Friday, and they said I had strep and put me on amoxicillin. I started getting bloody mucus Friday night, but DH said it is just b/c of the infection. I went back to the clinic on Sunday anyway, and they gave me a different anitbiotic, and a prescription decongestant. I am looking for a “real” doctor, because they don’t tell you anything at the health clinic, but in the meantime I am asking you.

Have you ever experienced anything like this? How long did it last? Thanks for your help!

How do you think a doctor would handle this situation.Would they detain him thinking he is suicidal or?

Just read a news story about someone who gave random donations to people. Then thought of a strange “what if” scenario.

Suppose you are a doctor in a mental health clinic. Someone walks in the door, covered head to toe in a Santa Claus outfit. He sees all the patients in the waiting room and hands out a real $100 bill to each person. Then he walks up to the first doctor he sees and gives him/her a $100 bill, saying “This is an anonymous donation to your clinic.” He turns around and starts walking out the door.

How would you handle this strange situation if you were a doctor? What would you say to such a person or what would you do?

reason for asking: Just curious if in this day & age the world is as jaded as it looks….Do we view all kind behavior somewhat suspiciously these days. Because it is a mental health clinic, do you think the doctors would just say ‘thank you’ and let the guy go or do something else?
